Outreach Ministries
At North Raleigh Church of Christ, we partner with a number of ministries in our local community. Click on a logo to learn more about these Christ-centered outreach opportunities.
North Raleigh Church of Christ Preschool
“Our goal at NRCOC Preschool is to prepare our preschoolers spiritually, socially, mentally, physically, and emotionally for their next age level and beyond. We do that with centers, math manipulatives, phonics, letter recognition, handwriting, Bible story time, art, music, and playtime. We also offer “Special Classes” such as Chapel, Storytime, STEM, Messy Art, and Music & Movement. Our curriculum includes teaching from the Bible through our Chapel Special along with classroom Bible stories, prayer, and art projects. Christian values are part of our daily living – the way we work, play, and live together.”
Pride 4 Parents
“Pride for parents is an annual toy and gift sale designed to benefit hard working families at Christmas. Through donations of new and gently used toys and gifts we offer quality affordable merchandise to families in Wake County. We will sell- not give- toys and gifts to families who can afford to pay a small price.”
Shepherd Youth Ranch
“In Wake County and its surrounding 12 counties, the need is great. Be they mental health disorder, child abuse and neglect, juvenile court or autism disorder, more than 20,000 youth are affected. You can help change the trajectory of their lives.”
North Raleigh Ministries
“At North Raleigh Ministries, we believe God desires for everyone to thrive. Just six words. For those of us pouring our heart into the ministry, the statement means a lot. From our beginning in 2004, NRM has been an extension of the church, and we’ve focused our efforts on providing financial literacy and food assistance to community members in crisis.”
CLI Prison Alliance
“Leading inmates to Christ is one of our greatest passions. We’ve written a free Bible study called “Who is God?” that invites prisoners to begin a relationship with Christ and get connected with our discipleship program. Together with the Holy Spirit, we then help new believers mature in their faith and make disciples, with two other courses called “Christian Leadership” and “Disciple of Christ.””
AGAPE of NC
“AGAPE of NC provides foster care, adoptions, and counseling services. As a licensed child-placing agency, AGAPE’s programs comply with state rules and laws regulating such services. We want to do more than just meet the minimum requirements though – we strive for excellence in all areas of service.”
Community Bible School
“What happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible? Come see for yourself!
Each CBS lesson provides the opportunity to read through the scriptures, answer a series of discussion questions, participate in a small group discussion of the answers, listen to a teaching delivered by our class teaching director and then to read through a commentary prepared by a Bible scholar.”
